1. Is the SREDH Platform available for everyone?
Currently, SREDH Platform is only available to SREDH Consortium members. Please fill in your membership application here.
2. How does the SREDH Platform ensure compliance with privacy and security legislations at the local, state, and commonwealth levels?
The platform is developed in consultation with various stakeholders and is designed to meet local, state, and commonwealth privacy and security legislations, including the Privacy Act 1988 and NSW Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 No. 71. Compliance is further ensured through formal assessments by UNSW IT, UNSW Research Technology, NPS MedicineWise, external security vendors, and adherence to specific privacy principles and retention authorities
3. Can researchers from other countries access datasets hosted on the SREDH Platform?
Yes, since July 2021, the SREDH Platform has distributed datasets to 18 research groups from seven countries through the SREDH Consortium governance structure. This highlights the platform's international reach and collaboration.
4. What ethical considerations are taken into account when approving research projects on the SREDH Platform?
